While it is true that print is cheaper for the reader (user), it is definitely more expensive for the person doing the printing, especially if it is in color with many graphics. Also, the web uses RGB color which can produce many more colors than print, which uses CMYK. Distribution is infinitely easier on the web. All someone needs is your web address. And updates, revisions and corrections are all easily done on the web. Not so in the print world! Audio, video, hyperlinks to related information - all of this is only possible on the web.
