Plus, a well-designed web site makes it easy
to navigate the information. If you want to review
some material mentioned earlier in the lecture, would
you rather back up 10 times until you find the right slide or click on the appropriate menu item right there on the web page?

If the purpose is education, then the web is the clear winner. Powerpoint slides are mere outlines, bulleted lists of discussion topics, without the discussion. And usually not well designed ones at that. Even Dr. Farooki's slides, visual masterpieces that they are, are simply topic headings. Ask yourself, would you rather read a book's table of contents or the book itself? Which would be more informative? Which would have greater educational value?
