In 2005, the world's most often used search
engine proudly announced it had indexed 8 billion
web pages for its database. That's more than 1 for every
single person on Planet Earth. And since you're listening to this lecture, it's probably safe to assume that none of those pages were written by you. But that's OK! The century is young and here you are!

Now there are many reasons to put up a web page. A large percentage of those 8 billion are commercial pages, many are governmental and a whole lot are personal pages (think family pictures - lots and lots of family pictures!) But, for a moment, let's consider the advantages of making educational web pages. After all, NRDaddy is a pediatric medical education site. Think about doing a lecture as a web page.
